Our Boy! The Tiger's Tail Tale

West Ray was born on February 2, 2011 at 17:53 in Singapore.  His mother and I are so excited for the little guy.  He is almost 25 hours old (we just celebrated his 1 day birthday with "aunt's" Jenn and Alicia.  West is a Tiger's Tail because a little over 6 hours after he was born, the Chinese calendar zodiac sign became the Rabbit.  So, as West was born at the end of the Tiger year he is officially a Tiger (however, being born in 2011 makes him a Rabbit).  Living in Singapore has allowed Noelle and I to greater understand this zodiac system better. More than concerning ourselves with whether he is a Tiger's tail or a Rabbits nose, Noelle and I wanted West to be healthy. Praise the Lord! He is.

Here are some pictures that will help tell the story of our sons birth. Please note that my wife looks beautiful the whole time (in fact at 17:35 (just 18 minutes before West was born) the nurse in charge said "Noelle is so beautiful, even in labor she looks like Ms. Universe).

Christmas Break

Noelle and I spent our Christmas once again in Singapore.

Our Christmas Eve was spent at our home with Jenn, Alicia, Shannon and Gretchen.
Our Christmas Day was spent at Verne and Natalie's place with Verne and Rahel with Timi visiting from the states.

We have been blessed with great friends and family here in Singapore and are looking forward to next Christmas where we will be able to celebrate it with our son.

Baby Shower Pictures

We were blessed last week with a wonderful Baby Shower. Here are some of the photos from that event. Thank Val, Val and Patricia.

It is the end of an era for Mrs. Fleischmann employed at ICS. She will be ending her time here at ICS in order to be a stay at home mom and take care of our little guy when he arrives. He is currently four pounds and is due on February 1st. We have our next appointment on Saturday December 18th.

Last week our lovely staff threw us a baby shower, I did not realize men were invited to baby showers; but the food was good and I am glad I attended. More pictures of this event to come later

27 weeks is upon us and I thought we should put up some photos

Noelle was feeling tired today and the little guy is getting too big and causing Noelle some discomfort, but still this pregnancy has been a blessing (only one day being sick so far).

She still looks good, as the photos below show. The maternity clothing store here in Singapore should have accepted her as a pregnant model when she applied, that was a poor decision on their part.

20 Week Sonogram

Last week we went for our 20 week 1 hour long sonogram. Praise be to God that our baby boy looks to be healthy. We are thankful for this blessing and although we were not allowed to take video while they were doing the check up, they did let us take some video of our son after the checkup. It is dark, but enjoy!
